In a two-day seminar, migration law scholars addressed the question of whether and to what extent governments use litigation to restrict, rather than improve, human rights protection for migrants. Mia Krieghofer, Lisa Steurer and Julia Kienast took part in the workshop on behalf of the VCML and gave a presentation on the preliminary ruling proceedings in cases C-608/22 and C-609/22.
